As a longtime fan this is why I dropped her.
Her making cute noises and humming along with the music shined through her deep voice, and she was comfy to listen to. Now that she's just another "Uwaaaaah!" high pitched streamer, Okayu feels generic to me.

I wonder in the long run if that did more harm than good, even if there is a language barrier some fans are more about the individual personality than anything else. Whether there was or wasn't intentional attempt to redirect overseas fans to HoloEN, if they didn't mesh well or got turned off by Myth and Council would they even bother to return to their prior JP or move to another vtuber circle or give up the hobby altogether.

Korone has been debuffing herself for quite a while now, and I suspect she does it on purpose because she didn't seem to took that well her sudden spike in popularity. It's a shame because she has the talent to be the best entertainer in the company, but she clearly prefers playing Dragon Quest and Monster Hunter by herself.
