I think VShojo was always a fallback option but I don't think it was the plan. She put real effort into that Queen of the Indies arc but it just didn't work out. Can't say I followed it closely enough to confidently guess why, but maybe she was just too radioactive for most indies to take the risk.

But when that failed though, why wouldn't she joing VShojo? She was always at her best when bouncing off of co-stars. All of her best moments are from collabs, she made a name for herself with a news show about the rest of Holo, and some of her most successful content, like it or not, was bringing guests onto the meme review.
She NEEDS to be part of a group. She tried to make a group out of indies. When that didn't work, she joined the other corpo that she had friends in. Why wouldn't she?
