The "base" fund mechanics already included two different tiers of membership, three if you count the CEO separately. I can't see the reasoning behind your unpopular opinion, since you haven't provided any. Why, pray tell, should it change? Is it because of things like myself managing one fund full-time and three more "whenever I have the time"? Or like other players that just join every single fund? Tell us.

There is, albeit a very minor one.
Members: Can trade in the fund, set the auto-trader, and chat
Board Members: +Bulletins, +Approve/Decline Join Requests
CEO: +Promote/Demote Board Members, +Kick Members, +Dissolve Fund

It would be nice if there was some more delineation between Members and Board Members. I feel like trading and setting the auto-trader should be limited to the latter.

>>31658278
I guess it does. I don't normally check LIVEs for word cloud stuff unless someone explicitly asks for something, since it's a lot faster to download a released song. I think the "original" purpose behind making the damn thing sing anyways was to echo the nasfaq info page wanting to expose people to more chubas. e.g. you might not know x or y has a new orisong or cover if you don't follow them closely.

I've never done these kind of long posts before, so don't be surprised to see retarded logic and reasoning.
I see funds as basically guilds. A bunch of players get together to cooperate to get some benefits that tied to being a member of a guild.
The fact that one player can be a member of every fund and receive benefits (in terms of fee payouts and increased divs) from each and every one of them is stupid.
I also don't like the fact that a member of a fund can make basically fund 2: electric boogaloo with the same members. Combined with the problem of the previous point, it also clutters up the mutual funds page, which triggers my OCD.

I feel like at a billion+ the game just becomes get more divvies to invest in funds. Coin investments just arent worth it for the 10, 20K profit and unfortunately the reliability of these spikes is becoming rarer and rarer as even if you follow schedules and everything it usually always lead to net losses due to unforseen wrong adjustments or unexpected adjustments for other coins.

I miss when there was dumb spikes from shit coins to exploit. Now its all invest in funds and wait till next week, invest everything into Hololive coin or do 100M gambles.

Also, I just hate the tax mechanic because we still can't pick which purchases we want to use our credit on and which we don't want to use credit on.

Also I don't really care, still gonna play this but the low spikes and just complete randomness in adjustments these past weeks just make it really clear everything is about funds, gambling or divcoining.

Which is fine, btw.

You're so incorrect I don't even know how to begin to explain to you all the different ways you're wrong, but I'll try my best to see if I can think of all of them.
Lower networth funds are inherently more profitable pound for pound than higher networth funds just on the basis of how fund trading works, a fund that starts with 10mil can easily quintuple its share price within a week with just a modicum of trading reps.
Fact: The lower networth players that started lower networth funds have far out profited the higher networth funds from higher networth players if you compare their profit to the networth of the players that started them.
Funds like Delta Triangle and Lazy Laundry are the absolute worst funds in terms of profit to networth ratio, only beaten by the meme funds that aren't even attempting to trade. This situation was even worse before the first batch of major fund changes, they are only saved by the 5-10% exclusive CEO divs from the total div pool of the fund.
>successful fund.
On this point, if you simply make a fund and don't intentionally nuke it via utterly retarded trades, it WILL be a success, because it WILL generate tons of profit that you simply couldn't that gotten otherwise, whether it be via dividends, share growth or even the fees for the shares.
A player without a fund simply cannot compete financially with a player that has one, regardless of their networth and regardless of the funds starting cash.
I personally believe this is still balanced however, because correctly managing a fund actually does take a lot of work (in comparison to normal trades), it's not as brainless as it might seem at first.

i mean fair enough then.

Honestly my biggest gripe is with the tax system, hard to continue climbing due to it and there's no shot at improving it.

With funds I just feel it is necessary to have maximum capital to not get curbstomped and so I am not going to fall in the trap of throwing less than 500M into it.

There is no guarantee for either investors or shenanigans with lower capital it just seems stupid to not have maximum capital when starting your fund.

I don't understand, did you not read anything I just said? Funds that start with 500mil+ are objectively worse funds than ones that start with less, the sweet spot is between 10mil and 100mil starting networth.
>There is no guarantee for either investors or shenanigans with lower capital it just seems stupid to not have maximum capital when starting your fund.
This doesn't even make sense? What isn't there a guarantee for? I don't think you've taken the time to actually think about how funds work.

>I mean it assumes your investor count outweigh your initial fund startup net worth.

>It is highly unlikely to naturally attract investors through lower net worth due to less coins.
It seems you haven't been paying attention to one of the fundamental problems with funds that's been talked about ever since they came out, which is the fact that you don't actually want to attract investors. At least not at first, investors only hinder a funds initial share growth, they become good again later on in the funds life when the fund has reached a networth where it cannot reasonable grow its shares in price anymore, and it's preferable to have people invest to grow the fund to increase the funds total dividend payout.
Again, as I said before, if you make a fund and just makes trades in it, not even amazing trades, just ok trades, it WILL be a success.
And if you're worried about your fund having a "bad start" or something, you really shouldn't, there is no way for your fund to lose.
>No investors
shares grow in price
>Lots of investors
total dividend payout increases
>Especially since trading perfectly is unlikely in the current ecosystem.
This goes back to why your conception of funds is inherently incorrect, the currently deflating market means most coins are going down in price, but haven't you noticed? Funds aren't deflating, they're simply stagnating, even in a tough trading environment like this, they can still maintain networth growth and at least keep share prices the exact same.
But that's only true for the higher networth funds, the lower ones can absolutely still generate incredible profits, even in this deflating market.

For fucks sake, make a fund with 100m, set to 100k shares, go public, before you make your first trade start the dissolve process. Now just buy coins you know will be up more than 23% tomorrow, or if a coin is stupid cheap in the morning obviously buy some of that to. Congrats you now feel like you are making progress again. Once more than a week has passed and you feel that people own to many shares that your not making enough from trades to warrant continuing to trade with the fund, sell all of the coins and wait for the fund to complete the dissolve process.
Rinse and repeat.

I just want tax credits to be able to be used specifically on a coin transaction or not.

Funds are too meme worthy and one of the reasons I deleted my 100M fund on launch was due to the fear of being hundreds of millions in debt at some point due to extreme problem of the balancing act between available balance and imvesting+selling.

Obviously the current system there's maximum risk on the investor but I still fear the chances of mismanaging and being fucked over hard as a fund manager.

Especially in this deflation market where it is just going lower and lower and spikes are smaller and smaller beyond the odd occurences of Subscription upticks or API shenanigans.

Honestly in this market I don't really feel safe even with starting capital of 500M. Good luck to those who are fools, I suppose. Hahahaha!

Except your logic makes no sense when you consider the fact that sub 10 to 100M means that your amount of coins will be beyond limited. You will then have the problem of balancing coins and the investors with thousands of shares at low prices breathing down your neck later on.

Yes, you are right on the fund closing trick. But anyone who starts a fund that low whether its with 3M to 100M and builds up from there has to contend with potential sabotage later on due to the low share prices.

Basically you can only defend yourself against this with a massive initial portfolio.

dont go purely by yesterdays price
to trade properly you need to have in mind a "normal" value of each coin and judge buys based on the difference to that. When you buy something "cheap" irl, you think its cheap based on what you think its "normal" price is.
i.e a coin spikes yesterday, and returns to normal value, if you only go by grug strats so you go OH SHIT -40%! but all it did was return to normal from a spike. It is a net 0 value right now
At the very least, make a notepad of what you think each coins "real" price is, check the ingame daily and monthly graphs and do some line autism, or check bbbs monthly averages if you want to be lazy. Then each day compare each spike/dip your thinking of trading to that real price and trade based off that

>I don't get how funds supposedly boosts your net worth?
The really dumbed down version of it is that a properly managed fund can earn money UP TO 25 times faster than a player can. Key word - FASTER. If a player is buying/selling 1x 4.5%/0% and a fund is buying anywhere from 1-50x 10%/10% ~= 21% the player can technically earn 16.5% more than the fund does, per dollar.
You as a player are likely worth more than a new fund, and all but the biggest funds. But you as a player literally have bags, do you not? Unless you own no Shion. You can't dump them quickly. You can't stock up on dips very quickly. A new fund is like a newborn baby, it has no baggage. It can gobble up 7200 coins at the same per coin price you'd pay to buy 288 coins! It can pick coins up 5 times faster than your maximum while paying 1/5th what you would in fees to buy 1440 coins. It gets a little bit less clean when you consider selling, since you can sell 1x and not pay any fees, but your 3x sale roughly = any fund coin sales between 1 and 50x. I have personally never used anything other than 50x in a fund, there's no point, unless you have the math automated.
>and you have to have 50% premium on the coins before you sell which is not going to happen with current market fluctuations.
Funds pay 10% tax to buy coins, and 10% again to sell. The break-even point for the fund is selling coins at anything 21% higher than what it paid for them.

Hosting a community AMQ game at an abnormal hour and at bump limit!, get in here: https://animemusicquiz.com/

Room ID: nasfaqg | Password: firefox

Feel free to either use a guest account or make a proper one. You can add a list too to tailor the quiz, just make sure to set it to private if you care about anonymity. Guests can't talk, so if you'd like to do that then you'll need to make an account.

We will be playing the Battle Royale mode (to start off with at least). You move around with your keyboard's arrow keys and click on things to loot them so that they show up in the quiz pool. You answer with the name of the anime, not the name of the song or artist. If you join mid-match you'll have to spectate, but you'll be able to join as a player after the game is over (games usually last around 15-20 minutes).
These lobbies tend to last a while, so don't be discouraged from joining late.
