I think it depends on the audience and numbers. The lower the numbers the less of a swing you'll get from buff to debuff. I think the thing about Roguelikes is that after the first stream the novelty wears off and the only people left are those who really enjoy the game or streamer. To use an example pekora went from a 33k peak in the first Cult of Lamb stream to 22k in the next one. Kiara saw a similar drop (5k+ for the first stream, barely 4k for the second). This has always been how parts work ever since the days of Lets Plays - people all crowd in for the new thing on the first part and then are filtered by the second part.
