No amount of mods can fix a completely rotten base game. You'd basically need to re-develop the entire game for that to work. Skyrim's a good example, of how no matter how many mods you shove into it, you'll not get any proper full conversions that actually make it a good game of X series.

This is also my experience. I like her model and voice. She presented herself as a classy, smart, educated young lady. I feel her energy levels have something to do with it. Shitty story, shitty maps, shitty ambience, shitty features, shitty writing, woke bullshit, lack of features, lack of depth, lack of difficulty etc. There's a whole world of ways the devs could ruin the game and because Microsoft is publishing, I have absolutely no hope for them. They don't even have to ruin it. So long as they fail to improve on STALKER, it's going to be a failure.
Gunplay was already garbage in the original games, so it's not like it's meaningful for the second game either.

Once again, everything you have listed has been modded before. The only issue is if the engine is too locked down to mod. The hardest thing there is probably story and shitty maps. But some of the best stalker mods are basically just text story mods anyway.

She sounds like she is still in the first year or so of her illness so she still has hope that things will resolve themselves. If she is lucky, they will, but I was not so lucky.
