I think the answer is that the ID branch has a clear leader, which EN lacks. People will say that it's Amelia, but when has she managed to get everyone to do something? If Moona wants full autism Minecraft server, everyone cooperated to reach that goal. Even people who don't normally play MC, like Yopi and Anya collaborated in the design of the ID server. Contrast that with Fauna's ender dragon stream, and it's a fucking shitshow. EN has no leadership, no structure, no cooperation.

I think the lack of leadership may be part of it, but the heart of the issue is that it's hard to feel pride in a game you never really liked.
Most of them only started playing Minecraft because they stream and they feel obligated to do it. The majority of them think they're not good at building in Minecraft so they don't even try. Or they try to do a project that's too big and either fail or get overwhelmed. Then they just want to avoid playing minecraft.

Like most VTubers it depends on your personal taste. If you like karaoke where the talent actually sings instead of just reading the lyrics, look elsewhere. If you like stories, try out a few clips or her chatting streams - they’re not for everyone but they’re out there. If you like a VTuber who at least acts like they care about their fans and the game they choose to play, Fauna may be for you.

The EN server was always kind of redundant anyway, I was against it literally from the start knowing that this was gonna be its fate vs being able to rely on like 30 girls on the JP server for whatever resources they needed to have fun building stuff instead of struggle just to remake a bunch of shit the JP server does already.

Ame was the leader-y type in MC maybe the first half-year of MC, but it seems really fell off and now nobody is. IMO Ina always had the capacity to take the lead but she just fucking doesn't wanna, she had chests of diamonds and enchanting books squirelled away in her house for many months and wore iron just to not visibly mog the other girls. She made several of the most important farms (wool, iron etc) without breaking her head over it and reproduced Botan's archery range in like 1 stream without too much effort. She could so make the server in her image, make giant Takodachis in the sky etc but just.. doesn't.

It's sad, it's like Ame used to be confident in herself with Watson Industries but I think kind of slinked back in shame on seeing what she thought were impressive efforts get mogged hard by JP's, and Ina just never had the confidence to take charge to begin with. Long ago she had mentioned some ideas like wanting to make a gigantic Yagoo statue or a big Cthulhu or something and again because these would be prominent landmarks didn't. She made that torii but that's relatively not a big structure and is visibly pretty far out of view of the main center of the EN server town. We could see during her building the onsen she doesn't think highly of herself at all as a builder, when actually she did just fine.

I do think that seeing ID prove that yes even a smaller group of girls without the JP gods can still make really cool shit pulled out a bit of guilt from the ENs, hence Gura at least let herself be pushed towards making Atlantis a bit (still hasn't started rumao) and Fauna is trying to up EN's game tech wise.
