Anyways for the next IPO I'd determine a proper buy-in price and then make it so that's a fixed price for ALL buyers for the first cycle (to build some initial volume)
I'd also tweak increments to account for the low volume.
Finally I'd add "outside money", either as free money (follows the trends, stock goes up and the broker adds raw value, stock goes down and the broker subtracts raw value) or as a random speculative counter (stock randomly gains or loses x amount of money regardless of buys/sells, so buys move the stock up 500 but it only actually increases by 250 when the broker updates because of the outsider money)

We already don't have a sink AND a fast inflation. More free money isn't going to work on the long run. Although one cycle of "free" coins could be nice to stimulate trades. If it was up to me I would try to implement money sinks and options first (and unbloat the website).
