This should set a good precedent if they finally managed to stream DS games, more when you consider a lot weren't rereleased on WiiU (and with that eShop on the verge of discontinuation). Modified systems for streaming were one of the reasons of 2020 holocaust.

She's also really looking forward to DQ as she hasn't been able to play one in a while. Interestingly, it seems that she's recently gotten taste for roguelikes and also mentioned the time she had managed to clear a nuzlocke run of Pokemon (TL Note: I've never played the monster series for DQ, but it seems to be considered a roguelike as well, though I may be mistaken.).

There's quite a bit of fun with superchats so I wanted to mention them. A lot of the supas are congratulatory supas for clearing the game and reaching 2M subs but several of the nousagis that the cultist had been named after had also sent their congratulations for clearing the game. Shoutout to Denabon, who we will remember, QED, the brains of the cult, and Penchan, the pioneer. Peko was laughing quite a bit at those supas in particular.

There's also quite a bit of excitement from the nousagis for DQM based on superchats. There's quite a bit of DQM talk throughout the C-Part that flies over my head since I've never played it. Seems like she had it in her head that she was never going to be allowed to play the DS game so it's clear that she's very, very thankful for Square Enix for letting her play DQM.

Simplest decision would be that Squeenix simply approved an emulator for her to use but in that case it shouldn't have taken this long.

30 hours for a normal playthrough if you're decent at the game (she's not) and it you don't bother much with the synthesis, but with her playing a nuzlocke it's bound to be a 50/60 hours let's play now. I don't think she'll play under a nuzlocke up until the end though so maybe a 45 hours let's play should be expected.

This is actually pretty enjoyable playthrough.

Pretty much yeah, you need to collect 10 "badges" (darkonium in the game) found in blue chests during the exploration of the different isles( there are seven of them+ a few hidden here and there) to be able to participate in a tournament that will rewards the best trainer. You can fuse monsters once they reach level 10 indefinitely (thus making them exponentially more powerful up to a hard cap). She was against an orc(which isn't even a boss, the squeletic dragon she met a minute earlier is more dangerous imo) and got wiped out(since she plays a nuzlocke she loses her monsters once they get KO'd) so now she's just scouting for more monsters before battling against it once again. Fairly slow to be honest, she didn't even use the main feature of the game(fusion of monsters, or synthesis) after 5 hours of gameplay.
Once your monsters reach level 10, you can either fuse:
* a positive monster and a negative one
*A neutral monster and a positive one
*A neutral monster and a negative one
*Two neutral monsters
Each synthesis make your monster stronger, and the monster born from the synthesis can choose 3 skills out of its parents. You can for instance get a ATK-focused monster with healer skills or a mage with pure physical skills. Whatever works fine if you abuse the system but I always used to have a party of 2 Atk-focused monsters and one mage/healer since the heal scales on the same stat(wisdom), with at the very least one monster having the psyche up ability (arguably the most important skill to have).
She hasn't even beaten the first boss of the game (or guardian), and unless she farmed the whole night, we'll have another bunch of dead monsters tonight.
