Okay, I’m not sure in what order I want to address things so this might be a smidge of a mess. Sorry for that.

I was mostly asking for information. Yes, I was having second thoughts about the deal because I was lamenting over how I only now afterwards realized that the questions I asked were ones I should’ve asked prior to accepting it. But a deal is a deal, and I really don’t want to walk back on my word. The only thing that would cause me to do that is if I’m told to get fucked and just accept what’s handed to me. I just want to make this whole thing as painless as possible for everyone involved, so it was kinda disappointing to see people assume maliciousness on my part and largely ignoring my original question. I guess I can kinda see how my words could be interpreted in the way it was, but does that really seem like how I am as a person?

At the end of the day, all I *tried* to do was ask for help. Because I hit a major speedbump in my head regarding how to reimplement the previous lore, so I was looking for different ways of tackling the issue. Did Cunt partially influence me? Possibly, as I was quite happy to see him support the deal as it was being struck and hearing that he had ideas for the previous place had me think of ways to reignite his passion as well.

I would say being at an elevation above ~1km there will put you in Cfb, which is technically considered subtropical highland, but the climate is basically the same in practice. Well, when it comes to oceanic climate, apart from what I mentioned in >>31196266, the most notable thing would be the constant fog, overcast summer, and constant rain. Your current climate already has constant rain (which also led to overcast summer), so having a magical cold fog around the coast and lowland should solve both the temperature issue and provide the constant fog for the mood.

Not really, no. For one, the island seems to still be beneath 30th parallel north, which means normally the prevailing wind would be easterlies (blowing from the east), but in this case, because of the island's proximity to the holo continent, the monsoon it generates means the prevailing wind will change according to seasons (indeed, that's what monsoon means), so the wind will blow from the south in summer, and from the north in winter. Even so, given its low latitude, I'm not sure if blocking wind from the sea itself will be enough to make it cold enough to become oceanic.
