There are different abilities that make a streamer's content stand out or make people feel "yeah, this guy know what he's doing".
You can be successful without any of that, as network (especialy pre-existing one) and luck still are by far the main factors in success, everywhere.
However you can increase your chance of catching that luck by providing quality, of course it's subjective but being invested/proud of your own content also helps staying motivated regardless of success

I think theres'a distinction to be made regarding simplicity; people often confuse simplicity for boring. "I'm going to be a nun" is going for a simple design, but also a simple concept. Simple design just means that it is not cluttered, it can still be creative and unique.
Give some examples of designs you like, and which you think might need some work.
Personally I'm a big fan of Abigail. She's visually very distinct but she doesn't have a cluttered or complex design at all. Meanwhile, Ollie is right on the edge of what my brain can handle, mostly due to her muted colors. She and Kiara are extremely busy in terms of design.

It's actually totally possible to use machine learning and NLP to identify posts in the thread automatically.
But you need a decent amount of data (messages) from each individual with 100% certainty. For vtubers you have far enough with twitter, clear selfposts and discord chats. But for viewers you're limited to their posts in discords or twitch chat, and the way of writing on the board can be different so there is a margin of error.

Nevertheless it would be possible to apply it to create a writing style profile for each person and then for each anonymous post have the list of the highest % of probability authors.

I'm not sure if using the identified posts as data itself would be good (to make it closer to the specifics of that person's way of writing on the board vs on twitter) or would be too risky in case of errors as it would reinforce its mistake more and more.

As of now I'd like to know what about it could be considered amateurish! Mostly because it is. But I really want to know what tells it.
Also, I didn't do it for free. I'm not that gosling for Letania to give her the (first) model for free.
The things I could list are:
Shit wing collisions. They're garbage and I hate them. I'll see what I can do.
The style: I love it, and it looks great, but I could see why vtuber fans wouldn't. Most of the time chuubas don't have flat colores with hard cell shaded, so it stands out quite differently.
I've no idea what else!

People bond with each other and get pings and stuff. Discord is very powerful against the natural erosion of any community.

I'm still kinda wary about setting up my own at some point (I'm a vtuber if that wasn't clear) because I'm not sure how I feel about further inuring myself parasocially to my viewers by giving them a way to contact me directly at practically any hour of the day.
