Tubers all use what used to be called a stage voice or radio voice, obviously, Some are more or less extreme. Including someone like Kronii. She does not talk to an audience the same way she talks to time family. Even Mori cerainly sounds a bit different when talking to her friends than to her chat as Mori.
Watch a normal chick some day and see how often she puts on a different tone when talking to, say, her parents vs. to a child or pet vs. to her boss vs. to a close friend. Tubers just do this, but they do it very well and with mic settings and such to reinforce the distinction.
So yes, Fauna is putting on a voice, just like she’s putting on an act and a mask. It’s literally her job and one she does beautifully.

Fun trivia fact: Aya Hirano (Haruhi, Lucy Heartfillia) can’t do the Konata voice from Lucky Star any more because it’s too hard on her. Hololive has a few like Pekora who use a completely inhuman voice day in and day out that no real person ever sounds like, and it has destroyed her vocal chords. It will be interesting to see what she does long term because there’s no world where she keeps using the Pekora voice she does and keeps her voice much longer. The smarter chubas use one closer to their natural, neutral tone that they can use long term, or assist it with mic settings. Fauna’s voice (and Kronii’s) are heavily reliant on mixing and so on to sound like they do on stream, which is healthier than just straining yourself like Pekora has been. It’s to her credit that most people probably think Fauna could carry on a conversation on the street where she sounds like she does on stream. But it’s a very carefully created voice.
