I might revise it later after all the history and politics is done. But I tried to make a super general overview of what /who/ in universe is like. ~250 - 300 words is the sweet spot in my mind. And a lot of the lore probably should be partially rewritten after you are done with the history. Like the RID, it should be altered to either be younger in the overall history or have a longer line of evolution.

I also saw something about us having the best metalworking industry in the world, and I just want to say i never once claimed this but we are certainly amongst the best and it would be hard to match our techniques. Also, the naval action as a whole was well done. Very nelsonian and innovation. Boarding action was interesting given that it sort of goes against what you would expect and makes sense. Grape shot accurately portrayed as are the losses. A ships after is the most vunerable part, i an sure you knew that. This would be humiliating for any navy imo especially the black fleet

The reaction would be slow, as it doesn't seem like anyone escaped. First, the people expecting the convoy at /vnug/ would have to realize the convoy is not coming, and then I imagine word of mouth of captured frigates would reach /vnug/, who would contact the Black Fleet. Yeah and the Nakhimov is still under retrofit since like what? 2006? With how rampant corruption is in the Russian Defense Industry I'm not optimistic about the Kirov class's future. Most of RU's capital ships should honestly be retired at this point and they are probably better off having a smaller navy. I would love to see a Kirov be preserved but sadly I don't think it would be very plausible unless the Chinese bought it or something.

Whatever is required for this war to have the outcome you want, basically. I'm flexible. The Black Fleet will send an amount of boat that will give the Prince a good battle, lose, and then if the attacks will not stop, the trade agreement with /vnug/ will be broken off, or a reasonable tribute will be figured out (<10% of goods value probably).

I am an outsider but the way I see it, the Black Fleet and Vnug need to make a deal with Tsunehisa, probably tribute or something if they want that trade to continue. Okay, then I think a tribute could easily be agreed to. It would lower the profitability of the route, but it's a strategic resource import so it would be worth it. If Tsushima is open to a tribute, the Black Fleet wouldn't send a punitive expedition. Deadbeats are individually prideful, but the Black Fleet is very meritocratic, if they read the incident report for that battle they'd probably say the officers in charge deserved to lose. Plus "I scared the great Black Fleet into paying tribute to me!" is pretty good PR.

Well aside from presenting the thraeds on /vt/ as fictional nations you are also building a world with living, breathing and most importantly thinking people inside. Trade is important for any society. Even if you don't interact with other threads in universe I'd say the scale still allows enough NPCs to have limited trade with /vnug/, on their own initiative as they want to capitalize on /vnug/'s market. And as a nation situated in a cold climate, it makes sense that they would have demands for some foreign goods. And some merchants trading along a pre established route might want to buy something from their destination and sell them to /vnug/ on their way back. Since they have extra cargo space, why not make some extra, and get some exotic goods from /vnug/ since so little people travel there? it dosen;t have to be a proper treaty, just write some lore about independent traders coming and what goods they sell or buy.
