It's like trying to rank NBA players from the 60's, post ABA merger, Post no hand checking, and comparing them to the modern 3pt era. You could, however, construct a Mount Rushmore of vtubers and probably come up with something like Ai (OG vtuber), Mito (popularized live2d and streaming), Sora (The George Washington of Hololive), Gura (was the spearhead in making vtubing into an international medium). The only other candidate I can think of for this would be Coco and maaaybe Kuzuha though I hesitate to include him since he's kinda carried by APEX a lot and the occasional buff content ( I'm probably one of the few here who thinks that Chinman is actually the top male liver of Nijisanji)

I'm curious to see how Mysta does with story focused Genshin content.
In the past Genshin streams, he usually peaks high with the gacha portion and then tanks fast when he goes into the story. Without overlap, I think he can still get to 9-10k tho.
Luxiem vs Noctyx would be interesting to compare to the Val collab they did months ago, but Chivalry 2 is a numbers poison game and they're all going to do even worse this time than the last full Luxiem collab.

There also isn't a chuuba world title that you can use to ring count either. Sure, Gura is the top in Subs and average views but Pekora and Marine mags her in CCV and Coco and Rushia (used to) mag her on SC. Influence wise no one is ever gonna top Ai since she's the progenitor and that alone might be the strongest argument that anyone can have to claim GOATdom.

I doubt we'll see any change in daily numbers or small event numbers for 99% of Nijis. They got 200k last year for Koshien and nothing changed.

However, I wouldn't say Koshien wasn't a big deal just because a 1-2 month event out of the whole year.
A 120k increase in the finals peak from last year is fucking huge and it shows their big event ceilings are getting exponentially higher.
I wonder how much of it has to do with NijiEN hyping the hell out of it (their viewerbase is pretty big in that timeslot and has almost no overlap with NijiJP) and Kuzuha, the most popular Niji, being in a close finals game.

The one common element I've seen from the Korea fans under that video is that they all like Myth. None of them are actually asking for Korean VTubers as of now, because a lot of Koreans otaku can speak English.
Unlike back when Holo got popular and most of the fans only had translated clips and live translations before HoloEN debuted.
So I don't think HoloKR should be the priority, but more Myth collabs with Koreans companies would be insane value.
