Just practice singing on your free time.
I used to be just as bad as you, maybe even worse cause I was too shy and would sing very quietly, but eventually became decent (nothing too crazy).
If you wanna take it very seriously you can do actual singing tutorials that are 1000s on youtube, and if not well just sing songs for fun in your free time, it will at least help you use your muscles and you gotta start somewhere. Recording yourself and listening to see what is going well and going wrong also helps.
And for Karaoke nights for fun you dont even have to be a really good singer, its not a concert, so just keep trying!

If you're serious about getting into vtubing and streaming upgrade to an xlr mic. Usb mics are limited by the motherboard sound chip. An Audio Technica 2020 and Focusrite Scarlette 2i2 are prolly the most braindead options. If you can keep your background audio clean youll have almost professional level quality. Snowballs and Yetis are only recommended if you're dipping your toes into streaming or a hobbyist 1view.

But you are too monotone and aren't putting any emotion in it. When singing songs, another part of it is to put the emotion it needs into it. If its a sad song, put that emotion in, same if its a hype song or a lewd song, you have to interpret the song when singing.
Its also probably nerves.
Just practice singing, and do it in a comfortable range, even if you have to lower it. Better to sound good and lower than to be painfully obnoxious doing a high pitch falsetto voice.

Im still not perfect but Im kinda decent, I think at this point I should take singing classes to really improve but at the same time singing (live) isn't really something I'm dying to improve on in the grand scheme of things of my life, so Im ok with my level.
Learning how to do audio editing is also pretty good, specially when you learn to tune your voice.

I think if you're actually considering stopping (which I don't recomend) then you need to seriously consider what your goal is, to do it part time/as a hobby or do it full time. If your goal is part time then don't. If you wanna do full time then don't give up still. Don't stop. But if it's seriously hindering your financial situation you probably should or at least go on hiatus

I promoted myself on various social media (twitter and reddit in particular), made and shared clips, even edited a full game down to an hour video of just the boss fights. I'm not sure what advice I can give you as far as feeling ill-equipped socially.
