The backing track isn't bad, and the singing is what it is for having 4 dudes who aren't singers, but the flow is so terribly ESL of the lyrics that it's like IRyS's songs. They're having to mess with the pacing on their words so much and there's no repeated sound structure to the lyrics which makes them sound completely unrelated to the fucking music itself. Why the fuck do these people keep listening to these song they've commissioned, and think 'yea, this sounds fine' when if you've listened to literally any Western pop music you'd be able to realize this massive flaw in 30 seconds. Even good Jpop artists know that their should be a flow to the lyrics, like Yorushika or the literally nobody who writes Hachi's, and Suisei has talked about how she made an effort to introduce a rhyming measure in her songs.

If they're trying to hire the big names who write for big deal musicians, it might be expensive though probably not moreso then their current trend of hiring mid name JP artists, but there's plenty of competent song writers who aren't trying to work in their non-native language, and people like Patterns have even worked with Holo beforehand. You'd have to actually go looking for them if you don't have any connections to the Western music scene, but that's not that hard nor something that would be impossible for management to resolve.
