Honestly I'd just start reading something in your preferred medium, like if you read a lot of manga you could start reading one you've already read in Japanese or find a simple slice of life one that isn't likely to use words you'll probably never see again. Song lyrics are also a decent place to learn words but the grammar can be fucked up so I would stick to something else if you want to practice grammar. Also vtuber clips in Japanese tend to have subs so you can read and follow along with what they're saying. The most important thing is that you're motivated to read whatever it is you choose
