Iluna clearly was an experiment for them to evaluate how easy it is or not to just scoop of random already-successful people who had little/nothing to do with vtubing and see how they do, there's no guarantee that they'll keep doing it considering it's not really that successful. Turns out that when you tell 200,000 normalfags "hey this person is a vtuber now!" most of them will go "wow neat" for like a week and then tune out because they weren't actually into the medium to begin with. What a shocker.
