As nijijp? moderately, she's not some breakthrough talent and the market is oversaturated at this point, only people like Salome can become big. She's just a comfy chuba to hang out with,
If she was EN with her avatar, work ethic, singing skills and good English on top of that? She'd probably be one of the top girls, just look how far Selen, Pomu and Enna are just because they did their reps. And her commentary/engagement with audience is top tier too. I don't follow her on Twitter but clicked the link and she seems like the type of person who likes keeping their audience engaged with good morning etc tweets, so she'd fit right in.
Shitposts aside, seeing chubas like her makes me realize how overhyped corpos are.

Rosemi is more than cute. She has a charm I have not experienced with any other vtuber. It includes a combination of her mannerisms, humor, etc. She would be my kamioshi but I can't be a fan of NijiEN.

I wonder how much stuff like that is subjective. I guess a lot but then again quite a few people feel like that. I like(d) her for other reasons and was kinda indifferent to her being cute or whatever. On the other hand Lulu just made me smile by being around. It's honestly weird how some people can resonate with you just by being around and not doing anything specific to make you attracted to them.

You never know you can be into someone until you meet them. Half of my oshis were like that, turned in randomly and stayed because they were cute and endearing. I think the voice is always make or break kinda thing for me.

I wouldn't say Rosemi made me smile by just being around. If she was just sitting around with dead air making cute noises I'd probably do something else. However, I did enjoy the atmosphere of her solo streams in general and she made them fun for me to watch, most of the time. I understand that other folks do not feel the same and would only watch what interests them at a glance on the schedule. That's fine because I do the same for other vtibers.

NTA but aren't you afraid that one day the charm will wear off, that you tune into the stream and simply see a girl playing a vidya game without all that aura that made her streams so enticing in the first place? I know it doesn't always happen but desu if that was one of the reasons I watch someone, the thought of that happening would probably always lurk around somewhere. Or maybe I am just overthinking.
