Another sleep deprived review, this time with Onion Soup.
Same stuff as before applies, feel free to ignore what I've said, I may have misinterpteted some stuff, done is better than perfect, and above all, thanks for your work!
"Vampires always drank fresh blood, to not do it fresh wasn’t even considered." It sounds a bit unnatural to me.
First paragraph is a good intro. Last sentence is intruiguing, especially as it starts right after with Aqua. Makes me want to know more.
First two phrases of the second paragraph gives a "drug abuser" vibe, like when you get some realisation at the end of the night.
From what I understand Aqua didn't know that Mel was a vampire? That's surprising.
"The problems really started" I feel like you could remove the "really" here, but that may be projection as I'm a "really" abuser myself. I also feel that this paragraph "jumps around" temporally a bit too much and may be less confusing if written more linearly. I'd appreciate if someone else could take a look at it and give their opinion on that, it might be just me being dumb, or some figure of style.
"It was times like these where Aqua really hated herself." Another "really" that may be unnecessary.
I took some time to understand that Aqua was working at the blood donation clinic when you mention that other people went to the cafeteria.
Just after that, the part where Aqua smells him and brings him magazine is good, I like the way you describe Aqua, Anon cutting her train of thought.
"Ahno immersed in his magazine" Is Ahno supposed to be Anon here?
Having donated blood a few times before, I feel like it's good description, although I think you missed the tourniquet and using the needle. That could be a good scene too.
Again, the mix between blood sucking and drug abusing behavior is good.
"Ahno’s limp body" now I'm even less sure that Ahno is a typo, it might be his name or a nickname.
I don't know if skipping the part where she sucks too much blood is intentional to highlight how unaware of that she was, or if it's just missing.
Maybe it's a difference in countries, but here nurses usually put a cotton ball on the needle hole and then wrap that is some kind of plastic fabric bandage that's ~10/15 centimeters wide.
I like the detail that Aqua is a bit dumb so she puts a cover over him instead of under him to isolate him from the cold floor.
The onion stuff is fun, and kind of fits with the personality of the guy that lets this happen to him.
"Mel had tried to explain but now Aqua understood that it really wasn’t something you could just put into words." Another bounty for the really hunter.
"She threw Ahno’s number in the trash, there was no reason to keep it since his blood wasn’t even special like she’d thought." Maybe start another sentence at "There was no reason".
I like a lot how you continue the parallel between Aqua wanting to get blood and drug addiction. Now she's going to go to dangerous places, and Mel is trying to talk her into exchanging sex for blood (drugs).
With the tone of the fic, the onion stuff may feel a bit out of place if you're going for the drug/corruption angle and plan on following up.
All in all, I enjoyed it a lot. Aqua and Mel kind of fit how I see them, the blood donation is realistic, and the drug subtext adds another somber, darker layed to the fic. It kind of reminds me of when I was in litterature in middle school and we were studying "La Vénus d'Ille", a novel where a series of incidents might be explained either through rational means, or through fantastic means (here a killer statue). That's the case here with vampires and drug addiction. Thanks for writing and sharing that!

Oh right you're writing on mobile and don't know about publishing. It's an option under file in gdocs if you're on a desktop.
You can use rentry instead if you can't access a PC. Though it's much better to write in a text editor that autosaves since a browser crash could take out your work. Then you can paste to rentry and give the review via there.

I feel Suisei was written off too fast, I wish he would've done more with the spicy drama he had set up.

So after learning that, I wish to congratulate you on your prose. I do not know how much time apart those stories are, but holy shit, I couldn't recognize you, and both were incredibly well written. I just finally read Match-Made and wow. Somehow this fic made me genuinely dislike Suisei, always did think that her personality is fake as hell, but that's just me. I really adore the relationship between Anon and Koyori. It's honestly one of the sweetest things I've read in here. And that ending. I really wish I could've captured something like this with Fox Family but I'll probably never be on that level. I kinda want a spinoff of just Suisei cheating on her husband and by extension Anon and getting what she deserved plus her reaction to getting pregnant and subsequently having her idol career ruined by the end of it.

I've finally finished reading Paradise Lost and my first draft that's around 1500 words. It's a bit all over the place so I'm not sure how to approach it. There is lots of stuff where I could dig deeper and deeper, but I've already spent quite some time on it.
Has the author of Paradise Lost made anything else? I know I say this all the time but here even more than before, I feel like the whole fic is filled with double meanings. Maybe I just need to take a break and get a good night of sleep.
As for the fetish stuff, I feel like it's showed in a way that's almost evil. Everything is right at the end in a big paragraph, and after going through it I almost feel soiled. I've read/watched/seen deranged stuff, but this is the first things that leaves me this disturbed. What I've just said probably sound ridiculous/insane, but on the other hand the author wrote a fic about eating human waste and called it "Paradise Lost".
I think I'll prioritize reviews of more gentle stuff for a while.

Well it's a pretty good fic review method, especially since it's pretty much how I write a comment to respond to fic if I'm committed to making it a review and not just a response telling what I liked and disliked.

Thanks anon. I guess I would have to read some at some point or ask him and hope for an answer. I don't know if I can explain this well, but usually a lots of stuff that is weird or has some fucked up shit still feauture some light, some warmth. And it helps "justifying" the horrible stuff that happens sometimes. For example, some people may think that they don't deserve to be love, but if they get loved and physically abused it balances out, so they read abuse stuff. I'm not sure how logical/normal/insane that sounds to people, but I personally don't find it very disturbing. Then you have stuff that's more abstract. For example, getting beaten up by your lover, and not even having sex with her, but she sucks your blood from time to time. I remember reading a greentext someone wrote about being in a relationship with Suisei and catching at most a sight of her back every 15 days. I get that stuff. It's maybe not my cup of tea, but I can understand why people write that and read that, and can kind of imagine a situation where I'm closer to their point of view.
I didn't find any of that in Paradise Lost. I call it "evil" because I feel like it was destruction for the sake of destruction, evil for the sake of evil, dirty for the sake of being dirty.
I'm not saying this to dunk on the author or make him feel bad or anything like this. I'm trying to understand why I feel like I got something stolen from me by reading words on a screen. If you consider that art is made to move people, in any way and any direction, it's some of the highest praise I've ever given. On the other hand, if it's actually great art, then I think I'll spend the rest of my life reading mediocre fluffy romantic stuff. I'm fine with not experiencing this feeling again.

I think there's a balance that you need to expect from authors who're not pros, doing something for fun and for free and also for a small localized audience of readers - sure I could spend hours and hours editing and perfecting a story, but in context, "good enough" is most often good enough.

In most cases I think all authors know there are things they could improve on in any given story, but also want to move on and continue because while editing is important it's not as fun as telling the story itself. Contrast this with published works, where there's obviously an expected level of professionalism - but most of us here just do it for fun. I want to get better but I also want to fuck Miko's wakipai, and if that's the next story in my pile of WIPs, well, time is money.

NTA, but I think what Suisei needed was another chapter. When Koyori and Anon come to the conclusion that she's a cheater it didn't click right away for me, nor did I see the twist coming right before it lands. When I went back and reread Parts 1 and 2 with that knowledge then yeah, that conclusion makes sense but in the moment it didn't quite make the landing. A chapter about her being more brazen, manipulative, or even OOC could have gone a long way. You could also maybe use that hypothetical to highlight her good points like her strong will and determination and use them to paint her actions as someone desperate and sympathetic. In that sense, the epilogue with Lui, imo, paints what happened to her as something "out of her control" rather than it being an innate tragic flaw. Letting the reader wonder what went wrong with Suisei is more interesting to me, personally, but if you wanted to keep that ending then yeah, more Suisei development.

All this kind of ties into one of my critiques of the story in that Koroi's and Anon's development gets kind of glossed over in the beginning. I get why, there's a lot of ground to cover, but I think having a chapter where Anon warms up to Koyori while Suisei is "seducing" him and ending with him making up his mind might have done the trick. Make that a part 3 and this a part 4, essentially.
