Other streamers pay for clippers because they aren't Hololive. One of the benefits of Hololive is the huge name recognition. You'll have plenty of people making art, clips, etc for you for free. And mostly to just jump on the bandwagon and try and pump their own brand. HoloBass, Walfie, Kaymatic, Kanaru, etc. Yes some of them can eventually become contractors like Kanaru. But a lot of them can also spin out and be faggots like Walfie or HoloBass. Point is, don't act like they are doing a "service" for free out of the goodness of their heart. I think the only issue with the notion of Kronii's VA career taking off is that unless she chooses to forever do indie stuff, eventually she might be pressed to or decide she wants to be credited under her real name which if she's still with Hololive at that point would just open up a gigantic can of worms in it's own way.

Unless it's a situation like Nene where she's credited as Kronii, at some point there might be an issue for her in the long term where when she leaves Hololive, she might not be able to legally list all the voice work she did that was initially credited under Ouro Kronii (plus you know with the west she'll get credited as Kronii Ouro because they're dumb like that). Vtubing is still in its infancy in a lot of ways because we don't know how certain situations like this will play out, but hopefully whatever happens it's something that works out for both sides at the end of the day.
