I think you misread the context for this part since this is all self-imposed stuff on her part. Her own friends told her she has problems communicating with them during her last trip which led to her having the moment of self-realization about how she clams up and doesn't say stuff when people are expecting to hear from her which is how we ended up with the whole AX guerilla week shitshow which she didn't even hint was going to happen in the first place and no one really expected with it being so close to how her move ended up turning out.

The "promise" in this instance was that she implied on Twitter she would be able to stream in a guerilla sense that particular week, but when that turned out to not be feasible, she didn't communicate it wasn't going to work out until after a week of radio silence when she had already returned home. Clip Studio even has a function to view a picture in picture so you can copy or (((reference))) shit but it looks like he just laid the original under his drawing layer based on how the composition is the same but the details, anatomy, and lines are entirely different. You can see somebody like Ina do this on stream. Obviously she uses her own sketches and not someone else’s finished piece though. It’s not different than just having it pinned to your easel. But having it directly under your work surface is easier than having to look over at it and reassess distances and all that shit for some people. I have a glass table and have taped things to the underside so they’re right under my drawing rather than, say, sitting next to it or on a different plane. It just makes some things easier.

The western VA industry is a shithole. You have a clique of the same 10 actors who gobble up all the major rolls in everything. VA work pays peanuts so the clique is incentivized to gatekeep aspiring new people to maintain a stranglehold on the available roles. This clique enforces SAG participation which is the worst union in the world for producers who need voice actors. That's not counting the completion from big Hollywood people in AAA games taking up major rolls too.

The most you will have is small indie games (big ones typically still have large publishers and big budgets to hire big actors).
