I don’t mind them caring about other priorities and I certainly don’t care if they can’t maintain the lie that their audience is the most important people in the world to them, but it would certainly help to not come off like you’re just doing it for the money.

There are plenty of creators who begin to fall off and slowly fade into irrelevance, and the first sign many of their fans notice before that happens is the feeling that they’re just doing it for the money now.
