Competent vtubers pre-plan their stream with topics, anecdotes fitting the character and such, while it's not fully scripted it's still a play, meant to please/entertain the audience.

If saying X or Y make it more entertainment or appealing, then they'll do it. And there is no expectation that somehow the performer should be like the character they act. Only newfags who flooded this board think this.

I don't think its really comparable, since vtubing does not take place under the premise of being 'just' a performance. vtubers may debut like that, but the personality of the person behind seeps through, and it is both expected and desired by the audience. And if this space is abused to feed your audience lies about what a loser you are and how you're just like them in order to fuel their parasocial dependence, then that's an immoral act. Even if you yourself believe it to be just a role (and I don't think that's what we're talking about here).

I think you're making up excuses. When Pippa talks about kiling herself, mouldy dishes, vomit drawers, etc. she's not 'in character', but she's deliberately mixing it with her private life, with her character being only a thin layer of kayfabe on top of it. And when you've gotten your audience used to being confidential with them and you feed them lies in such a moment of confidentiality to fuel the parasocial relationship, then you're acting immoral.
