It's actually easy to make vtubing fun again. Just pick an oshi and stick exclusively to her, her content and her community. Actually engage with it and stop thinking you're too cool to talk to people outside of here. The problem is that faggots have too much spare time and fill their entire lives with vtubers. Obviously that's gonna get boring. You're diluting the alcohol until there's nothing left and still expect to get drunk for some reason.

They both put in equal amount of work, just in different areas. Marine's content has global appeal which is why she climbed faster. You don't need to learn Japanese to enjoy her belly and tits. Also, unlike Peko, she actually brings unique content to the medium and consistently raises the bar. Pekora is just a standard vtuber content-wise but is simply very good at it.
