I feel like people here vastly over emphasize superchats when it comes to over all income. If we look at all the other things like memberships, sponsors, ad revenue, and niji salary, I doubt supas are even that important in the grand scheme of things. If we take enna for example, she gets probably some of the lowest superchat numbers of all the girls, yet if you look at her emote slots, she makes over 100k per year just on memberships. Factor in all the other stuff and She probably makes well over 200k salary without even taking supas into consideration. Based on what I have seen from another streamer who is very transparent about his ad revenue, a channel with 450k subs can pull in about 550k in ad revenue alone per year with daily uploads that get 150k average views. Every person in NijiEN is doing super well financially and that will never be the reason one of them quits.
