Hi-
I'll be making a few changes to mutual funds this week in order to make them a little more interesting and viable as tools for both the investors and the fund managers. Changes include disabling sales within a portfolio for non-public funds, allowed CEOs to set their fee rate, and giving managers more control of how dividends are distributed. Also, expect some new IPOs of the remaining HoloStars eventually. I will probably roll them out by generation incrementally.

As a temporary workaround i've suggested maybe upping the api limit?
As far as I can tell from personal use I should only be using 2-3 api calls a day for that and for some reason we go up to the 5 limit early..

At a guess resetting cache/local storage will generate a call but i havent fully tested it.

Going by past history the page going white is generally caused by something in the site code breaking and killing the rest of the page. In I think every known case it was related to calling some api and either getting broken data or nothing in return. 1. Find a sound you like. I am using "Utopia Default.WAV" from Microsoft Plus! as an example, I also made it quieter, so it's just a softer way of making a similar sound. You could use a Miko "ding" if you wanted.
2. Make it smaller. Much smaller. You'll see why.
3. Convert it to base64. You can use https://base64.guru/converter/encode/file but make sure you choose "Data URI -- data:content/type;base64"
4. Edit your installed 4chanx userscript in TamperMonkey/ViolentMonkey/whatever
5. Ctrl-F data:audio/wav;base64
6. Replace what is between the ' with your base64 encoded sound.
7. Make sure the MIME type is correct. That converter likes to output "@file/" MIME types. e.g. for ogg/Vorbis, you don't want "data:@file/ogg;base64" but rather "data:audio/ogg;base64". Similarly "data:audio/mp4;base64" for AAC/HE-AAC, "data:audio/wav;base64" for PCM WAV. MP3 probably works too, but HE-AAC will make for the smallest files.
8. Save.

The file that was already in 4chanx was PCM so I thought it might have to be. Since my source was 22/16/mono PCM I initially just halved the bit-depth of my file to save some space. Then I realized it was just an HTML Audio element, so AAC/HE-ACC or OGG also work. Rename .opus to .ogg and it will work too.

I am not sure this addresses the real problem which is imo coins that are streaming a lot and doing well are somehow worth less than a coin that streams once a month and brings in less numbers. Nabi gets average views on a mv after a couple months and more than doubles in price but miko goes up only a couple thousand for 800k views after her 3d live because she has been streaming so much and bringing in 300-500k views daily and her "base" price is somehow lower than your average 100k view streamer that streams twice a week. It just doesn't make any sense sometimes. If the soft reset could at least help with that I am all for it, but I think the end goal should be a completely revamped system.

That is a fair point, I do agree buying funds that consistently rise in price over time and provide divs as well is a little broken, since no personal investment is required, and it comes at a overall loss to the one performing the trading, since the reality is the more you buy into their fund the less they get from the trades they make. I do agree their current state is awful, but what could even make them good?

Buying coins now is primarily a trading choice, and it's still valuable. For newer players, trading is actually better than funds, and for older players, funds allow trading instead of having to spend money to get dividends.
I think there should be some risk-involving mechanic and that liquid should be able to do work to provide an alternative to hoarding coins or funds.
