if your main worry is this then id work on getting thicker skin before applying. niji + holo streamers make a good amount, and they have resources that are not available for most indies. you also automatically get viewership based on company name alone. its a trade off, 40% (most I've heard is %50) of revenue along with restrictive rules and corporatism, for a very good chance at secure employment in vtubing.

Note that neither company will take you unless you already have at least some online presence. Nijisanji probably won't even look at your resume unless you have 100k subs already. Hololive expects you to have at least some talent in a niche so they can pair you with people in other niches to form a gen.

to be fair, holostars, even en, is probably not making 6 figures a year. They have a very small but dedicated viewing fanbase, but there is no proof that fanbase is dedicated where it counts, buying merch. Will they have people who buy 10 sets of merch for the support? I doubt it, its not really a thing in western culture. So I don't think they're gonna be making girl holo money, probably mid 5 digits. Still good, but not 'easy life' level.

If you have some numbers and views, they'll watch your audition. If you don't, youtube will tell you they only saw like 10 seconds of it before deciding you're not worth a fuck.
