I don't follow her but looking at her channel she has been streaming like two or three times a week for a few months now. Same as Marine. But people here talk like both of their channels are barren wastelands like Ayame's. I don't get it.

Not a chumbud, but she's a good comedian and seems cool. However, I find it hard to get a read on her character. At least outside of membership streams which I don't watch, she is perpetually an entertainer and doesn't wear her heart on her sleeve like Mori, Kiara, or Kronii for instance. (Say what you will about them but all three of those show real emotion on streams; they don't flip a switch and go into streamer mode. Or at least they don't shut the valve off completely when it comes to showing a bit of their real selves, Gura seems like she might be completely different off stream to me.)

I prefer the latter because I like listening to people vent and I like rooting for people I enjoy watching. It also makes me feel appreciated as a viewer and the fanbase is stronger for it.

I just feel it's bordering parasocial. I prefer chill streams like Tempus, where they're just laid back and show themselves to anyone not just memberstreams. If Gura rewards members in a way to make them feel more intimate for paying her money then I feel it's unhealthy.
