In general? Because while the lore is cool, it can be spotty and overly reliant on the item descriptions. It needs to be reliant on them because you're pretty much always playing a guy who is in it to try and glue together what little is left of the world, but still. That guy in particular? Yes, the streams are good, she's in a great mood recently, she streams more than everyone but Kiara
But she doesn pull new viewers, because her content is only interesting for the established hololive fanbase.
The other girls will spam games that have a near infinite potential for bringing new viwers, like Minecraft, horror games, Rust, etc.
While Ame's schedule is basically Elden ring spam for months / variety / apex + random debuff game
Another thing is she doesn't have much music on her channel so 90%+ of new subs come from game content, but since she's not getting clipped due to stagnation, her growth is slow.
tl;dr her content is still just as great for teamates, but she's on her little bubble and doesn't care enough to spam buff games/content like Fauna/Mumei, etc

I'm glad she doesn't play the same games as everyone else because it'll just get boring to see (stray, Henry stickmin, Re series, etc) but next year I kinda want to see her go the "idol route" since her singing has drastically improved and she has pretty good dancing skills as well. This is pretty much the truth. Adhering to the latest crazes and FOTM games is undoubtedly one of the easiest ways to gain new subscribers and viewers. If you don't then you don't get clipped and new people don't come in. As this Anon has alluded to; For a prime example of succesful growth, look at what Mumei and Fauna (especially the latter) do compared to Ame. They pretty much seem to enjoy doing that sort of content, which is great for them because they'll effortlessly get to reap the rewards from it. And this isn't even touching on the collab buff that Council members are incredibly good at. Which generates clips out of the ass.

Just for the record, I don't care if she doesn't do any of this because I'll watch her anyway and clearly Ame doesn't mind either. But it doesn't make it any less true.

About bad singing habits, we could have a proper discussion about it. She has been singing this way for 2 years now and the thing that gave you "hope" was recorded a year ago, when she was worse at singing. On a more technical level, bad singing habits are easy to fix, it's not like with piano, where if you have bad posture it takes months to fix it.
There is a reason why so many people can sing at a decent level without instructors. She can get there by her own, maybe it'll take her a shit ton of time tho kek but we'll see. I do not agree with the "waste of time" thing
