Therefore it's extremely important for holofags to post about numbers, brag about numbers, and portray themselves as getting good numbers. Because otherwise, nobody would watch their streams.

I actually do believe this for most of the HoloEN 1 and 2 girls. I don’t think they’re higher quality than many of the NijiEN streamers.
But the EN Stars are just legit better than whatever Niji has put out this time. Niji, ironically, is the one that went the /#/ route this audition and filtered their talent based on having at least 100k subs and ended up with trash. You can see how, for year(s) now, HoloEN members frequently turn off SC during SC-reading streams (which are generally the most profitable streams outside of events) and played unmonetized games (i.e: ER) for months.
