The pv is like an advertisement in reverse. It's a music video sure, entertaining, well made (by the fate go guys), but it's also a sales pitch to studios. So far the mangas been cancelled because drama but they could really just get marine to draw the thing herself is she wasnt so busy. I think it's gonna be neat. And if they pull it off it's going to be some like next level advertising for their talents. Imagine watching / liking an anime and then being able to like go watch that character you liked play video games and chat and stuff. It's kind of incredible as concept

I think a good Hololive anime would take the entire franchise's popularity to the next level. If you just made a decent fantasy anime centered around gen 3, tossed in cameo appearances from other gens it would be enough to take Hololive to the moon.

You say that like it would be easy. Could they raise 2 million dollars? Probably; Critical Role raised that much for their anime and I'm sure the entirety of the Hololive fanbase or at least sankisei fanbase (which is about 50% of the former anyways) could raise that much money if Cover had to get help funding it.

The problem is that the Holos are not professional seiyuu. They are not suited to serious voice acting so the only program they could do is a comedy. In that case, they might as well just expand Hologra to fill length episodes and save a ton of money on animation.

With some coaching I think it would be possible. It's definitely a risk though, if you put out an anime and it flops completely that's 2 million down the toilet. If you just made a gacha or manga it's guaranteed money.

Still, if you want to truly expand the business into new horizons you need to take risks. Japanese companies are notoriously risk averse though...

Why are there so many aliens, and are they all from the same planet? Why aren't a devil and angel trying to kill each other? What's Pekoland's tax policy? It could make the girls more popular, give em more money and maybe some fun lore to play with.
