This has been a hell of a week at work, and I've mostly been preparing for the very last leg before the "official" release. There's one final level being finished which I've linked to, and I've done a few small changes here and there as well. This weekend, I'll wrap up the sound effects and clean up anything else I find that needs changing.

There will also be a final surprise in the ending credits screen, which I'm going to keep a surprise until the big day.

I won't get too sentimental this time, but suffice to say making this game was a real journey and I'm a bit antsy to see part 1 actually conclude.

The HoloID server is pretty awesome, isn't it? Maybe the next step of the game is making it semi-open world and add a map to it. Stuff to think about during August, I guess. I won't turn it into the Mario Game Maker of Hololive just yet, at least not until there's express interest from people. I will, however, keep the door open for interested parties to contribute if they want to. If that takes off considerably, then perhaps we'll take the next logical step and create a product for the community. I will almost definitely keep on making silly stuff and sharing with the world, if nothing else for my own benefit and as a means to remind myself that coding can be fun, which is hard to remember at work sometimes.

It's a bit silly that I've only really started enjoying making stuff so close to the end, when most significant stuff won't get properly implemented on time, but so it goes.

Now, some numberfaggotry: the game is sitting at over 300 browser plays and a handful of downloads as it is. I hope some of them were from some of you and that you've been enjoying the game, you lovable needy deviants.
