Lazu and Obsydia came out at a time when NijiEN wasn't a household name and didn't get instant recognition by the EOP normalfags, so Ethyria was the first gen to benefit from their predecessors success (relatively speaking)
Luxiem brought the big numbers to NijiEN, so any gen that comes after Luxiem benefits from a large debut buff, that will most likely die out in about a month and shave off their numbers to that of the other gens.

That's more than enough to live comfortably in 99% of the world (with exceptions like CA and few other expensive places). Also, you can find streamers on twitch who have <500 viewers and are still making decent money.
