Somebody mentioned last thread that StarsJP could get a boost if people spread the word on them by including good clips in the first couple of posts of the thread.
As an EOP that tries to enjoy the JP Stars, I don't think this will accomplish anything for a couple of reasons:
First, good clip views do not translate directly to retainable stream views or sustainable vod views. While there is support of certain heavily-clipped events resulting in high vod view spikes, this is usually a very short-term spike lasting less than a week.
Second, EOPs' main hurdle to StarsJP remains that they are EOPs. A good chunk of the Stars do understand English comments, and some even respond back in English, but most of the time EOP engagement with JP talents in general is very low, and Stars is no exception. The lack of Live TLs in StarsJP also means that EOPs have no real point of engagement from that angle, either.

Aki says "Good morning, good boys", and it doesn't matter what she says for the next hour, because the EOP doesn't have the blood in his brain to process anything she's saying anyway. tl;dr: Spreading clips won't help as much as you think; the boys need live TLs if you want EOPs to watch more streams live.

Many of the longtime livetlers are still around if you look at the names. A lot of the livetl now take place on discord or twitter though, not live chat. Roberu's asakatsu livetler actually moved on some time before he stopped doing asakatsu though.

The only good reason to join a trannycord is to lurk for the translations although they are probably drowned out by fangirls screeching in real time as well. Many youtube livetlers have moved and/or went menhera, but I believe Rikka has a dedicated N1 translator in chat most of the time and you can find another one in Izuru's free chat during his zatsudans and singing streams. There's more ways clips could help than potentially translating directly to StarsJP views.
First of all, I also want to increase support for the clippers themselves. They do a lot of hard work, and considering the traffic Stars clips usually get, it'd be great to get more eyes on them in general. It would encourage them to keep going and doing their good work.
Second, there's another thing you neglected to consider: the algorithm. More eyes on clips centered around "Holostars" gets Holostars better traffic on youtube in general, which gets more people finding them for the first time who never knew about them before or never went and checked them out themselves.
