That's not why people are upset. Besides being incredibly condescending, most people are trying to improve themselves. When I get home from work that is a million times more miserable and stressful than what Ame does for a living, I work out and try to find new hobbies. I'm studying Japanese, trying to become better at programming, etc. Yet I'm still told to improve myself by her just because I care enough about her that I'd be uncomfortable watching her stream with, flirt, and have more fun with another guy.
