Well they literally get thousands of auditions and if I remember /auds/ posts, most videos only get like 1- 5 secs of a view. I assume they do have some kind of selection rules to throw away like 80% from the get go.

I don't want Nina in Holo because my other oshi is Shondo who outright rejected them for shit model and Shondo doesn't deserve to lose another close friend to somewhere they can't even talk to her anymore. It seems the English branch is extremely restrictive, we would lose all interaction with all of her friends as well as not being able to interact with her whatsoever. I think the best thing for Nina would be her gradual growth continuing to the point she can support herself fully as Nina.

She didn't say it that simply but she danced around it and then privated the vod. Shondo is mega schizo and obsessed with her model, she's spent over 15k on art commissions IIRC. She is THE en GFE indie and loves Hololive, as well as being really good at what she does. If you watch it carefully she never says she didn't apply and was scouted, which is what many try to manipulate the narrative to. She has a close friend in Holo EN and is up there with Nina herself in terms of quality indies. If you really think it's that crazy you gotta believe a multitalented good indie with a pretty clean record and big numbers as well as connections can't make it far enough into the auditions to see a model and decide she doesn't like it and that makes no sense to me.
It's a shame because she's absolutely the type to put in a great word for Nina, Shondo adores her friends

LL went quiet 7 months before Council debuted. Takes a while. Could be seeing something soon, though they were open auditions so it could take longer.
