Gura is an anomaly. Fauna, Mumei, Kronii, and Ina are the top ENs and they all barely average 10k and don't have that many streams above 10k on normal streams. Vox is still in that category and Mysta just pulled off 17k and 13k the day before. Luxiem is still a force. The vtubing audience meta has changed since 2020. The EN tourist audience that permeated all of vtubing at that time has largely settled to watching EN vtubers. Instead of trying to appeal to as many people as possible, it pays off much more to focus on specific regions and time zones. The rise of Kobo (Indonesia), >Luxiem (China), Salome (Japan), and Isegye (Korea) is proof that this is the best approach going forward. They shouldn't create an EN talent, they should focus on taking more control over Korean vtubing by introducing talents that have different appeals and niches than their current ones. They're relatively big now but there is still room for other vtubing companies to encroach in the Korean market.

Arguable statement, I prefer to measure a streamer's performance by their median rather than what they had "x" day, specially when it comes to Niji since they love to raid eachother at every change they get even though their retention to those raids deflate faster than a balloon.
