I think most vtubers at least browse occasionally, because this place IS a useful resource of unfiltered criticism. You just have to ignore the real shitposts that are intended to hurt people and focus on the legitimate complaints people have. You can't really ask your chat how to improve because 99% of them are just going to say you are perfect. Reddit is a hugbox that would mostly do the same. For example if I called her a stuck-up bitch that will never improve, that isn't useful criticism. That's just a hurtful comment that she can't act upon. But if I said she should be careful to show respect to fans even if their opinion differs from her own, that is useful criticism. If I say that someone sucks at video games, they can't do much with that. If I say they need to work on their flickshots, then that's something they can take to heart and try to improve(if they care to).
