Her handling of the RUST yab was really bad and that exploded her anti following. There's pretty much nothing positive written about her on 5ch or matome sites anymore
Tack that on with her lack of streams and the duration dropping from an hour to even 25 minutes makes it seem to them like she has no motivation to work even though it's been less than a year. It also didn't help that she was quite active on her roommate account, but she since went on hiatus on it a short while ago.
Top this all off with how she always gets sponsorships and gets in the official channel and it gets even legit holofans annoyed thinking she's getting special treatment.
Overall it's really hard to build back all of the trust she lost.

2. She started to get lazy and not stream as much on her holo account
3. She only streams for an hour tops and says she gets motion sickness, but has streamed for longer than that on her roommate account. Her reduced holo schedule makes people think she's using her holo popularity to lead people to her RM account.
4. People start distrusting her or interpret things in a negative light
5. The RUST incident happens. Towa complained and was explicitly banned from joining the Sovalt RUST server, but there La+ was the next day on her company account on Shaka's (a popular JP twitch streamer) discord notifications
6. Again people are looking at everything in a bad light. The reactions to this were:
- She's using her hololive clout to try to ingratiate herself with popular streamers. Why else would she use her La+ account instead of her rm one
- She's said on stream (indirectly) that she understands the feelings of unicorns yet here she was having fun playing games with popular streamer dudes while trying to get a piece of that unicorn pie
- Why is she using a company asset to play a game a game privately?
7. Shortly after this spread around on Twitter (within an hour), she makes a tweet about "Egosearch time!" which people saw as her trying to hide behind her fans tweeting to get her attention to try to cover up the story
8. She apologizes on stream, but because she was RP-ing through it or something, it sounded very noncommittal. She also dissed apology streams which aggravated box pushers saying that that discounts the apology streams that her senpais have done
9. At this point her anti pool exploded and everything she does is interpreted as negatively as possible
10. She starts streaming even less, so we get more people complaining about how little she cares
11. The knock yab where there's a knock on stream and she suddenly panics a bit and ends the stream
12. She says that she had a roommate (Fe) all along. She recently moved and didn't mention this a single time then she suddenly tries to appeal that it's true. People saw it as an extremely convenient coverup so she can salvage her I'm an idol no dudes image.
13. More people complaining about how she's lying all the time and trying to get that gachikoi audience but has a boyfriend, is having fun with male streamers etc.
14. She goes to an offline Valorant tournament (VCT) with her friend. She posts a picture of where they're sitting and another streamer (Male) posts a picture and it's pretty much the same spot. At the end of the day they all mutually follow each other. More fuel for people saying she's using her fame to get closer to streamers (Male)
15. The hateposting continues to foment. I've seen posts where people admit to adding fuel to the fire to pass the time and to just shit on vtubers in general. Just tourists looking hate on someone
