The girls... Two of them are okay. I don't hate them Maria is your typical JP-like hire and Scarle's a typical EN girl. At the every least they don't intend on going around poking bears like the middle girl. Real tumor on their half of the wave.

Overall, despite how slapdash Tempus felt it seems like Cover at least gave it some thought. Most likely just Maria for me. I don't personally care about bros outside of collabs, so that isn't a factor for me. I watch streams for girls, and any guy content creators I watch make scripted and edited content. Maybe I'll come around on some of the other Iluna members like I have with previous waves, but Maria was the only one that met the expectations I had going in. Not gonna trash Stars, though. I only watched the first debut and got immediately filtered, but sounds like people wanting bro streamers got a few, so good for them. I'm not their target demographic, but that's not a good reason to shit on them.

I managed to not like a single of the new NijiEN members, but I actually kinda like most of the Tempus dudes. It really just depends on what all of these assholes decide to stream at the end of the day.
I think what stood out in particular to me was that the Tempus dudes all seemed to have their own brand of autism while I didn't get any of that from the NijiEN members so I just lost interest in all 6 of them pretty fast. Their schedules also immediately made me drop them.

I think previous NijiEN members come across as way more interesting and will continue to watch them instead of the new wave unless the new people do something to make themselves stick out which I don't think they will since the video games they all like are boring shit.

The hour limitation thing is because management worries about burning them out right away and wants them to ease into streaming daily rather than go balls deep in a 9 hour stream on the first week and burn out. At least, that's how Vesper put it, and it seemed like Myth and Council similarly had such restrictions temporarily. This makes sense to me at least.

I suspect the reason for the mandated time slot is because that falls in line with US prime-time hours, but I feel like that does them a greater disservice nowadays since that time slot is typically dominated by other highly performing holoEN members. Folks are far far more likely going to choose Gura or Fauna over the Holostars, (probably why they got Gura doing behind the scenes work now) and the folks they do win over in this prime time slot likely won't be able to migrate to what eventually will be their preferred streaming time, and they'll have to build up a new base of viewers during the time slot they actually intend to stream at. I get the intention behind this restriction, but it doesn't quite work well when they have to compete and try to take views from some of the most popular of HololiveEN
