Huh, I interpreted that as him adjusting to the Holosphere, which is totally understandable for a first stream. For example, the voice thing. He realized mid-way through the sentence that he couldn't just go "my voice was like this or that before I got this job" because he's supposed at least somewhat pretend to be a character, and he's not used to that. That's not him dissing management or Hololive, he's just getting used to it and it threw him off for a second.
I really have no worries about this dude, seems to have a great attitude about streaming. Holo members are always a bit stilted right after debut, but he's already very entertaining. Give him 6 months and all these minor kinks will be worked out.

Also, just remembered, I found the way he responded to Magposting to be very professional. He wants people to have fun, but he also doesn't want to be defined by it. He could have pandered even more to the meme crowd for some easy early points, but decided instead to make everything clear from the start.
