How bad of an idea is it for a new vtuber to use YouTube instead of Twitch for their streaming platform? the smart thing is to stream on twitch and use youtube as a clips/vod archive. if you really wanna try to game the system with shorts/tiktoks/viral tweets then go nuts but you have to know that isn't going to translate as well into actual viewers as you might think. when someone tunes in for a specific thing, whether it be a youtube short or ASMR or minecraft, they aren't likely to stick around for you doing anything else.
