Okay. He said most of the hard numbers, equipment and such were being left to another anon (you?) so we mostly talked about dogs. The main pregnancy kindred has always described the cult as being a "vocal minority" type of situation. It's actually quite small in the grand scheme of things, if I recall correctly she said the main village would have no more than 200 people, but word of mouth about them has it appear as a bigger threat than it is, especially as word spreads to other kingdoms who have no idea about the real size of the thing. I personally agree with her both because it's more interesting that way, and because I don't think the cult becoming widespread would make much logistical sense. Overpopulation would very quickly become rampant, and that's putting aside how much the workforce would decrease if a majority-female society decided to keep their women pregnant 24/7.

In my mind, it's all confined to like, a single isolated village of about 200-500 people which is, of course, a really small number in comparison to an entire kingdom. I think because their existence is talked about so much, whether it's a warning from the clergy or a rumor from a wandering traveler, it makes it feel like there's more of them than there are, but their influence isn't to be understimated and they have been growing exponentially…

I think it would be mostly children since /nasa/'s military is egalitarian. If there are women then they would be most likely pregnant or have infants. A woman fit for combat would have to stay behind and fight.

I forgot to ask touristbud, but did you say a while back that chumbuds are suppose to be smaller than Gura? Gura is 141cm (4' 7"). So chumbuds being around 4' 4" would make sense.

I used Gura's height (141cm) as a baseline for a normal Atlantean. But Gura is also more human than shark so her height is closer to a human. So if Chumbuds are more shrimp than human they would follow shrimp height and could be around 117cm to 132cm.
Now that I'm thinking about it, I like the idea of tiny 4 foot tall shrimps.
