Actually if you followed it closely this is fitting with what you would of expected. What happened was previously they were able to keep up a cycle of new waves every 2-3 months because they were always auditioning long before they launched all the waves from previous auditions. They were auditioning for Ethyria and Luxiem and Noctyx in June before they debuted Obsydia. But this time they waited until Noctyx debuted to even open up new auditions meaning we have to wait for the whole audition cycle to complete instead of them having people at the ready already.

If you look at previous audition cycles from when they first posted them on twitter to the first debut from that wave Lazulight took around 170 days to be the first to debut from their audition, Ethyria took around 110 days, Luxiem took around 180 days. So you would expect a new wave from an audition cycle to be anywhere from 110-180 days after the audition was first posted on twitter. That gives a timeframe of somewhere between early July and mid September for wave 6.

Among hololive fans on this board I would say Pomu, Selen and Enna are the most popular I think.
