I started watching Hololive because of the griefing rabbit, the menhera god, the drugged dragon and the surprising singing voice of sheep, comet and devil

NTA but as someone whose tastes exactly mirror him, I have been watching Fauna recently. I really like how controlled she is about being a streamer. Reminds me of Selen. It's one of the main things that draw me to a chuuba. Show up when you say you're going to show up, keep communication open between you and your fans, but don't get bogged down by antis or backseaters or fetishists.
Additionally, she hates the mommy and uuu, ASMR memes, and I really respect that because most tend to slide into their typecast roles, engaging in parasociality, GFE, and yuribaiting. Really nice to see a HoloEN who's above that shit.

I don't really like Fauna because her obvious child voice is both extremely fake and doesn't fit her model. Also just in general I don't find her very funny or entertaining, she's just a very sweet and likeable girl but I don't find myself laughing to her streams the way I laugh watching Pomu. No offense to her fans but I don't think she can be my Pomu replacement. The non-Nijis I enjoy are Amiya from Tsunderia and Tenma from Phase if that helps give an idea of what I enjoy.

>They didn't give Lazulight anything special for their anniversary except generic finger puppets
>On top of that they announced identical merch for Luxiem 2 days after Lazulight's anniversary stream and pinned it to the Nijisanji World Twitter to bury Lazulight's merch when Luxiem's wouldn't even be on sale for another 2 weeks
>They released an original song and ANOTHER merch set for Luxiem for no special occasion, meanwhile none of the girls have ever received anything

I'm dissatisfied with quite a few things about NijiEN right now but I can't bring myself to watch HoloEN anymore unless it's Bae collabing with Roberu. The smaller companies like Tsunderia, Prism and Phase are just so much better and more entertaining than HoloEN, and in many aspects better than NijiEN as well.

Same here. Been a Niji fan since 2020. I'm dissatisfied with the direction that they are going right now, and as the old names that I like gradually graduate I might just gradually lean towards indie and smaller corpo. I've already had some exposure to Prism, 774, and VSPO so it's not going to be that steep of a transition. I did the same when I slowly moved away from Holo to Niji because I simply didn't care about EN or anything post Gen 3.

I have an open mind and I wouldn't touch Nijisanji and Phase Connect. I watch everything from Hololive to literal 2 viewer 2views. "More entertaining" is entirely subjective and no one in this thread articulated what exactly does "entertaining" mean and just assume it's a self-evident fact. I just prefer solo streams and have collabs be curated with prior notice, and don't like obvious /here/ pandering(this is the case for phacon, including their ex-cyberlive additions). This is ironic because the only NijiEN I watch is Petra and she's someone who's so divorced from Hololive that she doesn't even acknowledge their existence. Her content is less a spectacle and more of a slow burn you can truck along to and her collabs for the most part are curated to a group she feels comfortable to.

Honestly I'd rather stick to Prism, Tsunderia and indies on top of the usual holos I watch. I find preaching about being open minded and "outside the holobubble" funny too because they wouldn't have touched their oshi if she wasn't in the corpo aka their own respective bubble, the same goes for some nijifans. Why yes, I watched Rosemi, Pomu, Menace(Cyberlive), Tenma(PhaCon), Shiina(PhaCon), etc before they joined their respective companies.
