Cats dont actually need to be fed new stuff every day. They are really smart when it comes to portioning their food and learn quickly when food spoils so they will eat as much as they need for their daily routine and a bit more before they sleep. With wet food my cat will usually eat half in the morning and eat the other half the next morning because shes learned how long it can stay before it turns groddy. Ive left my cat on a two week vacation before and just dropped a whole bag of kibble for her and she ate a little over a quarter of it because cats will naturally assume that its their last food source and make it last as long as possible, meanwhile if im there in person feeding her then shes a total pig and eats a lot before having a food coma. Automatic dispensers are a waste of money, just give them a large food source once or twice a week and they will portion it themselves, the only use i could see for it would be for a specific diet for the cat that gives them equal portions of different foods.

She laughs at the line about another Mio(“Mou hitori no uchi?!”) and says that's more like her trying to trick Mio into pretending there's another her.

All these comments make her think that a lot of people are actively watching the stream though, because they’d need to have both hands on the keyboard.. People’s comments say that they can’t focus on the stream if they’re doing something else, and it makes her happy somehow that people want to give her stream their attention.

Not as hard as a mother scolding her child, closer to the difficulty a worker would have with keeping the right emotional distance with a new hire that's older than them. Throughout the rest of the stream she keeps playing around with the word kyorikan, which is a sense of physical or emotional distance, physical being the jumps she has to do, emotional being her strange examples. Things like "I can't be too safe there, I need to have more impact or she won't even remember me next time, though I'll still use polite speech."

Usually she has work obligations when she wakes up early, but today she's free, that's why she's streaming. Well behaved strays are the best. We have one, she just comes and goes whenever. Sometimes she's gone for like a week, then she shows up and chills around the house for a while before taking off again. We usually leave some food out for her and from time to time she brings back some things she killed (always left in front of the door). Great cat.
