They've unironically been coasting off the hype of Myth's first few months for almost 2 years now, it's unsustainable. You can't just market a vtuber group by telling newfags they used to be amazing 2 years ago even though they don't stream nowadays, aren't friends anymore, and all future attempts to replicate their success have fallen flat. ENStars will be a flop, just as NijiEN's fanbase resents the fact their girls get shafted in favor of m*les by management, HoloStarsEN's fanbase will resent the fact their guys will get the same treatment right out of the gate.

Nijisanji's JP branch might have a small recline as people just aren't watching corporate vtubers as much as they used to and their newest talents have been kinda flops besides Salome, Leos, and Lauren who is constantly surrounded by controversy. On top of that many talents have expressed the fact Nijisanji isn't really as permissive as they were 2 years ago regarding talent activities and fans are getting annoyed by how "corporate" it's starting to feel, like a second Hololive basically.
Their EN group will either stay the same or incline hard depending on if management can leverage Luxiem's success into building more successful waves or benefiting the previous waves by pouring money into promoting the other waves with original songs, merchandise, con appearances, etc. Seems like that isn't going to be the case based on recent events though so I'll assume they remain 1-4k ccv streamers outside of Luxiem.

VShojo will slowly start kicking out their original talents as none of them fucking stream anymore except IronMouse. Expect them to start scouting popular female fleshtubers to become vtubers so they don't have to put on makeup before stream anymore. That's basically what VShojo always was, and it's a sound business strategy if you can transition your fanbase away from fapping to 3D tits to 2D tits. None of you read this far but Haachama, Finana, and xQc will graduate to join VShojo's EN branch before the end of the year.

Hololive got lucky with yt algorithm, got massively successful in a short time, but wasn't mature enough to support all this popularity and as a result - started shrinking and still is shrinking to this day.
Nijisanji took their time, and when finally got into western market they increased their fanbase in a quick but frequent bursts - female waves, luxiem, noctyx.
The end of 2022 will be a moment when Niji might overtake Holo in the west.

I'm a Nijifag and have been since Lazulight's debuts but that's not really true. Nijisanji's mismanaged their EN branch quite a bit, even moreso than Hololive in a few cases. For one a lot of fans were extremely pissed about how Lazulight was treated for their 1 year anniversary. Sure you can say this is standard Nijisanji policy to bury less successful waves in favor of promoting more successful ones. But EN culture is more in favor of the "everyone is treated as equals" approach and many were unhappy about it. Girls have been bleeding donors and the Luxiemsisters who made their viewership go up never donate a cent.

On top of that Noctyx was nowhere near as successful as Luxiem and it's becoming clear their future waves will probably be closer to Noctyx than Luxiem. I'd suspect by the middle of 2023 most of NijiEN will be 2k ccv minimum due to established brand recognition, but Mysta/Vox hype will fall off and they won't have any 10k ccv streamers left. They might still overcome HoloEN but that'll largely be due to Hololive's declining viewership and not Nijis inclining much. Ultimately the success of that one wave is entirely due to luck, their hires weren't even especially good but Chinese women were completely desperate for male vtubers. It's pretty much exactly like what happened with Myth, hire a bunch of mediocre streamers for a desperate market and watch them explode in popularity before people slowly realize they suck.

By the end of 2021 NijiEN was earning equal or more than HoloEN every month in superchats, before Luxiem even debuted. Their viewership remained lower but they definitely did incline in people's eyes and HoloEN was kind of panicking. I wouldn't be surprised if that was part of the decision to fire Sana as they were finally facing real competition and she still refused to stream.
Truthfully they didn't need Luxiem to beat Hololive, and in fact the girls have lost out on a lot due to the m*les, but now it's not even close anymore. In both hours watched and money earned NijiEN easily double or triple HoloEN every single month these days, it's insane.

First, NijiEN popularity grew after Noctyx debuted regardless of how successful Noctyx was. Second, you are assuming that Noctyx wasn't as popular as Luxiem because the hype was gone and that there was not enough fujo fanbase for another wave. But that's untrue. In reality they failed, because Niji tried to pull out Luxiem 2.0 by debuting an absolutely identical wave (Ironically, the same problem is with Council that was created in attempt to make Myth 2.0). I really doubt that wave 6 will follow the same path.

(varies from fantasy to futuristic). the main pull of them would be their insider connections - getting others that they've worked with on set to do essentially podcasts with them of behind-the-scenes of various productions. they go mainstream because they have ridiculous capital backing them up with backers such as Elon who has his own model that is set to cameo whenever he's feeling whacky. they're also featured on HBOmax, YT premium, and Netflix.
