I'll be honest seeing all these people on twitter saying stuff like "MY DAY IS RUINED I CRIED FOR 20 MINS" for a streamer that streamed like 2 times a month and was clearly more interested in her other job seems really fake. That, or people just love the brand too much and people put too much importance in it staying as they know it, regardless if they ever watched those streamers or not.
Before someone accuses me of being a fan of the other company, no, I love Fauna, but I cannot care much for these news, it's not like Sana is dead she's just leaving a job that she never really adapted well to, and now she can focus on the things she really likes instead of Holo which let's be honest was not a priority for her past her debut month.

Since then Shadow moved to less roleplay stuff and uploads a lot less frequently, and Fauna has only made one new video on her old channel since she joined hololive. The only reason people speculate about Fauna is because she has talked about its inevitability on stream. But she clarified that it's not like it's going to happen soon (she mentioned "perhaps in 30 years"), but that all things end eventually.
In short she's just trying to be considerate to her fans and prepare them mentally way ahead of time. I agree with you that she's the least likely to graduate, since she genuinely seems like she enjoys what she's doing, knows she's got it made and is able to balance it with the rest of her life.

1) she's a black sheep, anime fans aren't attracted to black anime characters on average. also inclusivity feels like a hololive/cover corp copout for western audiences.

2) Her personality did not fit a typical hentai/Anime Gyaru character... she tried for ditzy & lewd valley girl but never was willing to fully lean into it heavily as a joke for audience content & clicks/views/simps like Marine.
3) She rarely streamed and wasn't consistent schedule/content wise only time she was was durring a short honeymoon period after the debut.
