By joining Vshojo, Kson has access to manufacturing for merchandise and funding for projects. These are massive. Normally the investment you put in as an indie for merch is quite significant, and if you want to see a good return on investment, you need to contract the right companies. It's very difficult to do as an indie -- oftentimes many indies get scammed -- and joining a company would alleviate a great deal of that pressure
Vshojo seems quite lax in its policies too in terms of what they'll allow Kson to do. She can resume her regular activities, all with the funding and backing of a company, so it's an absolute win for her. Anyone who says otherwise isn't thinking rationally. She won't lose the entirety of her viewership overnight, and it's not like she won't find a way to get new viewers to watch her
