I can agree to that, nicotine and all the others aren't good habits to keep (though I'm certain there's a debate towards how good being on /vt/ is by comparison) so I've dropped the pens and the cigars and the like. I think the biggest problem is that when someone has nothing to do, they use it to make doing nothing more palatable instead of using that time to better themselves or learn new skills.
Now the only thing I can really say I use are chocolates every 3 or so months if I feel like giggling at something stupid but the time you waste on them isn't something you get back and I get my affairs in order before hand.
